In April 2011, seven women gathered in Los Angeles and started something. They called it PyLadies. By 2025 it had grown to 249 chapters across 64 countries — one of the largest and most beloved communities in the Python world.

PyBaby is the first collectible to celebrate this journey. She wears an oversized sweater because she is growing into something bigger than herself. Her glasses are for seeing the world differently. Her boots are laced up because she is ready to go places.

She does not represent one person. She is every first pull request that felt terrifying. Every workshop where someone finally understood recursion. Every chapter organiser who showed up even when only three people came — because three people mattered.
